As you've probably heard, Morocco was hit by a devastating earthquake (6.8 magnitude) on the night of Friday 8th September. So far more than 2,100 lives have been lost, with thousands of others severely injured and/or permanently displaced from their homes. Any donation would go a long way- thank you so much in advance !!

Background

The epicenter of the earthquake located about 70km South of my hometown Marrakech. The funds raised will be directed towards two of the towns most hit by the earthquake: Moulay Brahim and Amghras.

What will the funds be used for ?

The funds will be used for:

Provision of essential medical supplies and clothing
Provision of food, water and shelter
Provision of school supplies for the current school year and helping the rebuilding of the local school in due course

How will the funds be deployed ?

The funds will be sent to my parents (Mohammed Bougroum and Samira Ait Issimour) via bank transfer. My parents will then purchase goods with them and take them to the affected areas directly.
