Marli’s Emergency Surgery

Marli is a 4 year old Maltese mix that is full of energy, love and can make anyone’s bad day turn good! If you know me, you know Marli is my world!!!

Marli has recently and so suddenly began to not act herself. She began shaking uncontrollably, panting, not eating and whining non stop. Marli has been back and forth to her vet for two weeks with us receiving no answers as to why she is behaving the way she is. With no other option, Marli was rushed to the emergency room to later find out she has been diagnosed with IVDD, which is Intervertebral Disc Disease. This disease sits between her spine bones and acts as a shock absorber causing spinal cord injury and extreme compression. Due to this pain, Marli has lost the ability to walk and continues to be in excruciating pain that no medication can help. 

At this point, the only other option besides putting her down is an emergency surgey. This surgery ranges from $8-12,000 but my family and I are seeking for $10,000. This has been extremely tough on my family and I being so sudden, it breaks my heart seeing Marli in pain. ANYTHING HELPS!!!! Please help me give Marli an opporunity to more life!
