Marlin's engineering internship in Colombia!

Dear friends and family,
Please join me in supporting Marlin Nufio Paz, one of my former youth leaders in Honduras (and now great friend and unofficial "little sister".  )

Please see her attached proposal letter, which I have translated into English. Marlin is a BRILLIANT young woman who received a full scholarship three years ago to study at Honduras' National Agricultural University to get her degree as an Engineer. I have been so proud of her and have kept in close touch with her as she progresses through her program.

As you might imagine, a scholarship doesn't cover all the extra opportunities that students with more wealthy families can afford. Marlin was chosen this year as part of a select group of students who will be able to do their professional internship abroad, at a prestigious university in Colombia where there is better technology and more opportunity for professional growth. However, in order to take part in this internship opportunity, students and their families must pay out of pocket.

So Marlin has written a proposal to potential donors asking for support. She needs $2500 total. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for my precious "sister" and I would love to help her make it a reality.
