Sweet Caleb went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, August 14th, 2017. He was 17 years old, and had fought a great battle against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

In January 2017, Marlene wrote this about Caleb as she was reminiscing about his 3rd birthday..."He has always been a child who was more like a business man than a kid. He keeps his composure well and his humor dry and whitty, but deep inside there is the ornery boy. Caleb is so much. He is delightful, always has been. He is a giver, a sweet tender hearted boy who can gift exactly what you want, without ever having told him. He is my peacemaker. He has more rationale than I have as an adult. He makes me think. Above all he is strong. I may lift him, his brothers and sister may get things for him, but he carries us, without lifting a limb. I think about this often, I wonder if he knows the treasure he is. I wonder if he knows how strong he is.
I wonder if he knows how much I love who he is. Hope this doesn't make anyone sad. It's not intended to.
