Hey guys!
My name is Marleine Calderon and I am a senior at the University of North Texas majoring in Digital and Print Journalism with an emphasis in sports journalism. If all goes well, I will graduate December 2016.
My career goal is to write for the Texas Rangers or any other sports organization. My dream goal is to work in something that I love to do and I want to thank former Texas Rangers CEO Chuck Greenberg for that inspiration.
But before I make my dreams come true, I have the opportunity to travel to London this summer and study there for a month. During the trip, I'll be studying British media and international advertising and PR. I will be visiting media centers, like the BBC, some international advertising and PR agencies and Liverpool.
I am trying to raise $10,000 to pay for my tuition, fees and out-of-pocket expenses.
This would be my first time studying abroad, so I'm excited to just enrich myself in another country and travel to the other side of the world because it's another goal I have.
I would be extremely grateful for any donation because you would be helping me make my dream come to life.

Me llamo Marleine Calderon y estoy estudiando en la Universidad del Norte de Texas con especialización en periodismo digital y de impresión y con un énfasis en el periodismo deportivo. Si todo va bien, me voy a graduar en Diciembre.
Mi objetivo profesional es escribir para el equipo de los Texas Rangers o cualquier otra organización deportiva. Mi sueño es trabajar en algo que me gusta hacer y quiero dar las gracias al ex director general de Texas Rangers, Chuck Greenberg, por esa inspiración.
Pero antes de hacer mis sueños realidad, tengo la oportunidad de viajar a Londres este verano y estudiar allí por un mes. Durante el viaje, voy a estar estudiando los medios de comunicación británicos y la publicidad internacional y PR. Voy a visitar a los centros de los medios de comunicación, como la BBC, unos de publicidad internacional y agencias de relaciones públicas y Liverpool.
Estoy tratando de juntar $10,000 para pagar mi matrícula y unos gastos propios, como mi boleto de avion y comida.
Esta sería la primera vez que estudiaría en el extranjero, así que estoy emocionada de solo enriquecerme en otro país y viajar al otro lado del mundo, porque es otro sueño que tengo.
Yo estaría muy agradecida por cualquier donación, porque me ayudaría a hacer mi sueño una realidad.
