My Africa Volunteer Trip

Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, working with children is (and has always been) a passion of mine. I feel that children have an unaltered view of the world and, because of that, live a more compassionate, creative, and happy life. I want nothing more than to nurture those attributes and help children learn about life, starting within themselves.
I'm so excited to say that I have decided to go on a nine-week volunteer trip with International Volunteer Headquarters to care for, teach, and learn about life with the orphaned children in Africa! I can't wait to be submerged in their culture and learn about life through their eyes. I will be spending the first four weeks providing childcare at an orphanage in Ghana and the second four weeks will be spent teaching the children in South Africa. By doing this, I am able to help children in other parts of the world grow as individuals while expanding their knowledge and creativity. But at the same time, I will gain a better understanding of life and humanity throughout this experience.
By donating to my fund, you will help cover some of the program costs, airfare, and various travel expenses.
