Marla's Breast Cancer Battle

As most of you know, my mom, Marla Salerno, has been battling breast cancer since January of this year. What a lot of people don't know is that she lost her job literally within 24 hours of her diagnosis. She never even had time to inform her employer of the cancer, therefore was denied any medical disability and leave benefits, leaving her virtually without any income since the beginning of the year.
She is so mentally and physically exhausted from all of the breast cancer procedures and treatments - she has had 3 invasive sugeries and 4 months of increasingly taxing Chemo treatments - she hasn't been able to find another job and has been carrying COBRA insurance (which is a very high unforseen and ongoing monthly expense) in order to not have to pay all her medical bills out of pocket. (They currently total $1.5 millon and are rising quickly.)
So, this last 7 months, she has been living off of her savings in order to pay her medical out of pocket/deductible, COBRA insurance costs, and bills. Obviously, all of these expenses have depleted her savings. She still has 1 more major surgery to go and is looking at being out of work for at least another 3 to 4 months before she can even start looking for a new job.
Unfortunately, she has reached a point of dire need. She is about to have to put the house she worked so hard to buy and has lived in for over 13 years, on the market in order to keep from losing it. Being as prideful as she is, my mom would never sit down and do one of these pages for herself. However, I know any donations, thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. She would use this money to pay her out-of-pocket medical expenses, her monthly COBRA premium and other incurred expenses. The last thing she needs right now is the added stress of selling her house and trying to move, on top of everything she has been going through. In fact, I don't think she is even capable of moving right now in her current physical condition.
My mom is such a strong, determined and wonderful woman - I know she will win this war! Please help me show her how much love and caring is out there for her.
