My name is Ellie George. Most of Annapolis knows my mom, Marla Gardner George. She is the kindest, sweetest, most hard working woman I know.
On July 12th of this year she suffered a stroke. She was in the hospital for 6 days, and has been released for out-patient care while we wait for her surgery.
Most of you who know my mom know she has worked in the restaurant industry since she was 14 years old in such iconic Annapolis restaurants as Riordan’s and Cantler’s. Eventually she worked her way to Pit Boys, which she bought in 2001.
It is very tough for my mom not to be able to work and care for our family every day.
We appreciate any and all support from our family and friends.
