On July 26, 2017 Mark was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma with chromosomal abnormality t(4;14). Multiple Myeloma is a form of blood cancer that develops in the bone marrow. Kidney failure and severe anemia are common results of Multiple Myeloma. Mark is experiencing both. Mark has already received dialysis and blood transfusions. This cancer is aggressive. Experimental chemotherapy was started on August 15, 2017 at LSU/University Health in Shreveport.
