Hi, my name is Pat Markee. I've been rescuing abandoned and hard-to-home dogs and cats for 40 years. I specialize in taking in pets of elderly owners who can no longer keep them as well as
We are fundraising to fulfill two primary goals:
1) General Needs: dog and cat food, litter, vet checks, etc. We spend $2200/month.
2) Infrastructure Projects:
a) I am over halfway through building a brand new cat house (24 x 36 feet). It is dried in, but we need electrical and plumbing installed. Plumbing will be including sinks and washers and dryers to help keep everything sanitary. Our current bid is $8,800. (We are looking for a plumber who would help donate some time to this project as well.)
b) We are expanding from 1.5 acers to 16 acers. For this expansion we need more fencing to secure the dog enclosure. Our current estimate is $8,000.
