Mark & Shirley are moving!
It's the end of the Woodside era and the epoch of the Park Meadows age. We've all made some wonderful memories in the blue house on the hill.
As a combo birthday / farewell to Woodside gift, I thought it would be nice to hire professional movers for the Butler-Bordas duo. (SHHHH, it's a surprise!!)
I know we'll all lend a hand wherever and whenever we can (if they let us!), but this is a nice alternative if work/kids/life/travel (and maybe a bad back) are in the way of doing as much as you'd like. Just a little gift for the couple that has done so much to brighten and warm our lives.
All funds will be applied toward moving services provided by Wright Moving , who I have personally used several times. They are super reliable, very careful, and have great prices. They have also extended a 10% discount!
Rates:
$50/hour per person (driving rates are the same)
For a 3 Bedroom house, it is estimated to take 3-4 people about 6 to 8 hours = $900 to $1600.
Packing/Unpacking services are estimated at about $1800 - $2500.
They can provide services for whatever Mark & Shirley find most helpful, whether it's packing/unpacking or moving to/from, so if we all pitch in what we can, I hope this helps relieve some of the stress of moving into their new home.
Wright Moving is available Aug 30 and 31, which I have confirmed are the dates that Shirley and Mark are planning to move.
