Mark's Medical Bills Support

Donation protected
Past Exalted Ruler/Leading Knight Mark Niebruegge fell while walking home from his bus stop last Tuesday evening (July 16th) and hit his head. He was found unconscious by a passerby and was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital where he immediately underwent surgery to remove blood from his cranium.

He has been under heavy sedation and on a ventilator since then, but has been able to respond to requests to wiggle his toes or give a thumbs up, and has been able to squeeze his daughters' and mother's hands.

The doctors will be unable to tell if there is any cognitive damage until his sedation can be diminished and the ventilator removed, which they are hoping to begin today (July 22).

The hospital expenses are going to be extraordinary, and the Telluride Elks Lodge is asking for your help in relieving some of Mark's financial distress as he navigates the long journey to recovery.
