Mark Wolter hip surgery

Mid-day Friday my dad was hit on his motorcycle leaving the bank in town. He was on a main road and a woman flew out of the parking lot and didn't see him, he swerved left trying to miss her, she didn't stop. He hit her driver door and front fender with the right side of his bike. It pushed his femur into his pelvis, he's got to have a major surgery in order to walk again.

He's a hardworking, self employed man, who helps everyone with anything he can. He mows yards, does small engine repair, A/C work etc (he will be out of work for quite a while because of this) He has no health insurance so medical bills alone are going to be a struggle. He has no idea how he's going to make it by. Any of you who have similar businesses know winter is a rough time of year, work is slow, it's hard to get by. He doesn't have any money saved up and is struggling to get by as it is. He doesn't know what he's going to do.

I will adjust the goal amount as soon as I get to talk to billing when they are in office Monday. We won't have the police report for 5-7 days. There were several witnesses, we will be waiting on insurance for quite a while. Hopefully her insurance will cover his medical bills completely, unfortunately he will need help with basic bills and utilities covered until he recovers and until the insurance claim is complete

Whatever you can give to help means a lot. I have never heard my dad ask for anything, he's always been a giver, a helper, a friend. He's always helping a neighbor in need, giving community members rides to and from the grocery store, helping older people with household chores and honeydoos, he's the man that if you need anything you call. Well nows the time that his good heart is hopefully going to help him out. He's stressed, he's worried, he truly doesn't know what he's going to do.

If you can't help out financially that's perfect, trust me if anyone understands we do! He's going to be off his feet for a while and need some company around the house, some friends to stop by, if you're close with him reach out, be there for him. Also, he has customers who's yards he mows every few weeks, in order for him not to lose business if you would be willing to mow a yard for him please reach out and contact me (his daughter) Emily Wolter on Facebook or email [email redacted] . Last, please send prayers, he can use all the blessings he can get right now.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to email me at [email redacted]
