Mark Rubio

As we mourn the loss of a true legend in our community, his family is confronted with the reality of medical costs that were accrued during this very challenging time in Mark’s life. While battling for his life, his family strived to give him every opportunity possible to conquer the illness that eventually took him from us. Unfortunately, those treatments were costly and his family is now facing a financial dilemma. Mark was never one to ask for help from others, but always readily gave to others, whether by tirelessly coaching countless successful soccer teams, welcoming many children who needed a caring home, or through his long-lasting friendships that he established with his exemplary business standards and personal values. Mark Rubio was a courageous man who fought his disease with a positive and valiant outlook with the hope of being with his family for as long as possible. His family is comforted to know that he is no longer in pain and now in a place of peace. His family wants to thank you all for reaching out to them and for offering help during this difficult time. This fund and your generosity will help them defray the associated costs. We thank you for commemorating a true friend and community supporter with us and remembering him in the light of compassion, love, ambition, and humor. We will all miss him every day and will remember him throughout everything we pursue.
