The Mark Mason Movement

As many of you know, our friend Mark Mason has been succesfully battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for nearly three years. Sadly, Mark's condition has recently returned. Mark has fortunately been selected to participate in an experimental study at Duke University, in Durham, North Carolina. This cutting edge research will attempt to attack Mark's tumor with a modified polio virus infusion, a treatment referred to as PVSRIPO. This will require frequent trips to and from North Carolina over the course of the study.

We all know Mark, so it probably comes as no surprise when he said, "Well, if it can't help me, then hopefully it'll help someone else down the line." We know that he has and still would do ANYTHING to help ANYONE. He has selflessly donated his time and talents to countless organizations and fundraisers over the many years he has been in the public eye. Well, now it's our turn to help.

We're asking everyone to please show up on the Cape Vincent Village Green on Sunday, July 2nd , from Noon-4 pm. We're calling all musicians that Mark has ever played with or influenced in any way, to come out and take part in an amazing jam with fellow musicians from the Upstate NY/Southern Ontario area. We also ask everyone to come and donate anything you can give to help offest travel costs for Mark and his family. Food and beverage will be available for sale, with 100% proceeds going to the fundraiser.
