Mark feller .. road to recovery

Donation protected
Mark has been in the hospital since May 27, 2018. He was originally admitted for pneumonia. He didn’t have pneumonia but was mis-diagnosed at Centennial Hospital. They treated him for 2 weeks before his heart started failing. What he did have was a serious blood infection. He got so bad that he needed to be incubated, sedated and paralyzed. From there he was transferred to valley for open-heart surgery which involved a double valve replacement.

Out of surgery he went into septic shock and multifunction organ failure. He was put on pressers to keep him alive. We were so afraid of loosing him. Both feet and parts of his fingers went black. The dead tissue on his feet could not be repaired and was so painful that they had to be amputated. He is still currently in the hospital will have surgery on his hands now to repair damage. Adding to his medical issues, he has contracted the Mrsa virus. Complications keep coming but Mark is still fighting.

We are reaching out for help to pay prosthetics. Insurance helps with the medical bills which have reached 4 million dollars already. But, like we all know, insurance has a limit. Mark has a very long road to recovery. His former career which was a large part manual labor is over. Mark’s entire life has changed leaving him, understandably, feeling helpless and sad.

Your donation will help pay for prosthetics and for Mark to get the care he needs at a rehab facility so he can learn how to walk again.
