The Mark Butcher Braden River Scholarship Fund
It is with broken hearts and great sadness that we mourn the loss of Mark Butcher. Mark died suddenly on September 5th, 2018, doing what he loved – playing soccer. He was 59 years old.
Mark loved soccer, he loved coaching, and most of all, he loved the kids. He was a mentor and father figure for many young children and he supported many children financially who otherwise would not have the opportunity to play the game.
In remembrance of Mark and his passion for supporting youth soccer, the Mark Butcher Braden River Scholarship Fund has been created to raise funds for youth soccer. All funds will go to create youth soccer scholarships for the Braden River Soccer Club.
