<div>I am starting this Gofundme campaign for a dear friend and the most generous person I have had the blessing to know in this life: my friend Mark Brady. In fact Mark is literally a teacher of generosity, and models the virtue daily in nearly everything he does.   Mark routinely offers people free support and lessons on Neuroscience, Parenting, and more recently "Embodied Altruism". I am pretty sure he would be happy to give you a free lesson to help you understand why generosity actually benefits YOU!

<div>Well, now Mark could use a little of our generosity.   I am starting this drive because today is actually Mark's 80th birthday, and he is waiting for a set of dentures so that he can go back to eating normally. As a result of treatment for throat cancer, Mark's teeth and jaw bones became highly compromised. He recovered! Which was amazing!   But he has been left struggling with how to chew. Generous to others, perhaps to a fault, he did not have money for the tooth extractions he recently got,  or the dentures he needed. Insurance turned him down, even though this situation <em>is clearly </em>a life threatening situation.  Currently, he is struggling to eat, and getting quite weak while he waits for dentures.

<div>What we can do?  Maybe...help him pay for the dentures. At least that is one worry we can help to mitigate for an elder that has helped and encouraged so, so many.
