Mark and Rosa Scholarship and Athletic Camp

16 years ago 3 families and the city of Mckinney would be changed forever...
16 years ago 4 lives were taken...
As the years have gone by, I have wanted to find the best way to honor 2 of the victims.  My aunt and brother Mark and Rosa Barbosa.
If you knew Mark, you knew he was a huge sports
fan. Many of my memories of Mark start with a ball being tossed to lynard or myself in an empty field,  road trips to college station to be apart of the 12th man, nights watching Stone Cold Steve Austin,        Tiger Woods or NCAA 2004 in the PlayStation, or his voice on Friday nights cheering for his Bulldog Brothers, and staying up late to teach his little big 
brother how to pronounce Spaghetti.
 To Give a scholarship to a young Athlete and the    opportunity for other athletes to attend a summer camp with his name on it, would be the greatest way to Honor my brother.
 My Aunt Chispa,
When she was a little girl, she got the nick-name
Chispa, which translates to English from Spanish 
as “Spark.”
She was the definition of a strong, independent
woman. She loved her niece and nephews. She had pizza inn on speed dial and a fridge full of cokes 
just in case we decided to stay the night. Many 
people knew Rosa from her 20 years working at
the Bank, but few know about her time spent 
working with children at Finch elementary. Help 
me keep that Spark going!!! I would love to help 
keep her spark going by giving a young girl a scholarship in her name.
