TANDEM CHICKEN RUN TO THE TOP OF SNOWDON

You will all remember back to December 2014 when we dressed as Rudolph and Santa and cycled our tandem from Chester to Manchester Children’s Hospital, to raise funds for Harry Banks who had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called Neuroblastoma.  Harry fought his way through intense treatment and surgery, eventually going into remission for over 2 years.

In November last year the Neuroblastoma returned and Harry required immediate brain surgery.  He has been undergoing treatment since then but now requires a treatment not provided through the NHS.  It means that £500,000 is required urgently for Harry to go overseas for this.

We are desperate to help with this mammoth task and hence have decided to dust off the tandem and complete a mammoth challenge!

On February 16th we will don chicken costumes (as chosen by Harry!) and tandem cycle from Oswestry in Shropshire, to the base of Mount Snowdon, climb to the top, coming back down to cycle back to Shropshire.  It will mean cycling an epic 120 miles on the tandem, over the course of 2 days with a climb to the top of Wales highest peak in-between.

We hope that this crazy challenge will raise funds to help achieve the overall goal.  Please donate generously to our cause and this incredible little person.
