Marion Needs Our Healing Help!

Donation protected
If you know my Aunt Marion, you know what it means to be in the calm, loving presence of a generous and kindhearted woman who would do anything for her family and friends. My earliest memories of her are filled with nothing but laughter, adventure, and her contagious zest for life.

Which is why her recent diagnosis of colon cancer, which has now metastasized to the liver, is especially heartbreaking. I've known few people who have embraced life's beauty the way my Aunt Marion has, which is why I want to make sure we can support her in living out the time she has left in continued comfort, peace, and knowing she is deeply, deeply loved.

You know what's probably the worst thing to take on when you are battling cancer? STRESS. And after seeing so many of my family members take on this fight against The Big C, I know firsthand just how expensive cancer treatment is. There's a reason so many go into medical bankruptcy.

The good news is that come January, Marion will be getting additional Medicare assistance with her medications, which will be a big help, but in the meantime, these costs are a HEFTY load to bear. Just one of her drugs alone is $500/month. Can you imagine having to foot that on your own, along with everything else you're going through and trying to manage? Not to mention the cost of naturopathic immune-support remedies that insurance companies won't cover.

So let's circle the wagons and rally the troops. If you know Marion, I have no doubt that she's touched your life and helped you in one form or another. Now is the time for us to help her. Can you do that today? Anything you can give is a generous weight off of her back, right when she deeply needs it most. Donating allows us to throw everything at this cancer that we have so Marion can continue to make our hearts smile for as long as possible. Which, let's be honest, is a gift to all of us in return.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Let's show this cancer what we got!

Love,
Alida (Marion's niece) and Marion
