Marion Hughes's Road to Recovery

Marion Hughes was in a motorcycle accident on Sunday June 11th, and is admitted to the ICU. Unfortunately, Marion has a cracked strenum, a few cracked ribs, and may have a few broken fingers. She has some brain trauma and some contusions, causing her to remain in a coma, as well as bruising on her heart. She has yet to open her eyes or follow specific commands, but has made leaps and bounds of progress in the past 72 hours. Marion was intubated, to assisted with her breathing in addition to a cranial monitor was inserted to keep an eye on her intracranial pressure. Fortunately both of which have been removed, and she is now only supported with an oxygen mask and tube feedings. Marion likes to wiggle and move her feet to let her family know that she feels her family is there with her. The progress since admission is giving us all great hope for recovery! 

Marion is surrounded by loving support from her husband John, her children Brandon, Erin and Cassie, and her sister Maureen. They are so appreciative for the positive vibes, thoughts and prayers sent their way! The continuous support and prayers are still needed.
