Mario's Medical Expenses

For 11 years, my wife and I have owned a small Italian restaurant, Divino Trattoria, a little place where we've come to love our community and our customers.  They are more than just customers, they are family.  We have not lived a lavish lifestyle; we are happy just to pay our bills.  Our customers/friends have brought us joy.

In July 2017 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and my world took a 360 degree turn.  On September 18, 2017 in London, Ontario (2hr drive from my home).  I underwent 8 1/2 hour Whipple Surgery to rove the tumor from my pancreas.  During that surgery, there was a complication which will result in the loss of my right kidney.  I'm now awaiting chemotherapy and radiation treatments before returning to London where they will remove this kidney.

Being self-employed, my wife and I have no medical coverage; nor do we have funds to pay for expenses such as medication and out of town lodging.  During this time, other daily expenses have been accumulating and the business is struggling.
We are hoping that these funds will help us pay for my cancer treatments and for our expenses related to my next surgery.
