PLEASE HELP A VET...

A close family friend of ours, Shasta, is a Marine veteran who desperately needs a tooth pulled. He flew over 170 successful missions as part of the 6033rd Helicopter Battalion Recon before his helicopter was shot down on his 5th tour of duty in Iraq. He was paralyzed for 9 months, and the doctors at Walter Reed told him he would never walk again. Soon after he was honorably discharged as an E9 Sergeant Major, he started walking again. He has been fighting an abscessed tooth since August, and now (finally!) has an appointment to have it pulled at the health department. After being told his Medicaid would pay for it, they later told him that it is inactive. I don't have a car or any money, but I'm trying desperately to get him a ride and some money to finally get this taken care of on Monday. Please find it in your heart to help someone just trying to survive in their hour of true need. After how bravely he fought for us, I hope that we all can bravely fight for him.
