For Marine Sergeant Joshua Carter, PTSD ended in suicide.

Donation protected
Marine Sergeant Joshua Carter, father to four beautiful children, suffered from PTSD after his time in combat. He also battled the effects of a traumatic brain injury which debilitated his life, severely effecting his ability to function normally and maintain financial stability for his family. On Tuesday, July 2, 2025, Josh ended his struggles by taking his own life. After years of chaos, his family has been left without the ability to cover his funeral costs and final expenses, all while trying to navigate the shock and grief of his loss. I cried when I was told that his young children collected his bone fragments, ensuring that nothing was left unaccounted for, “No man left behind.”

Please help me honor my hero and friend by donating and sharing so that others can do the same. We love and honor you, Josh. Your flashing smile and brilliant eyes, your tenderness and charisma are engraven upon our hearts. Love is an insufficient word for what we feel for you. Sempre Fidelis. Ooh-rah!
