THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO IS SUPPORTING MARINA. WE REACHED OUR INITIAL GOAL AND WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET THERE WITHOUT EACH OF YOU!

But we can't stop now! We need to continue to help!
B"H we know that it will be successful and that we will need to continue to raise money for future treatments that will cost an additional $4,500 per month.

Please continue to spread the word and re-post. Marina can't thank you enough and is overwhelmed by this incredible support and love. You have given her the courage and ability to keep fighting.

Dear Friends. We are asking for your help.

Some of you may know our dear friend Marina Levdayev. Marina is 34 years old. She is an Israeli citizen who moved to Miami ten years ago to pursue her graduate studies. Six years after moving to America, Marina began to experience debilitating headaches and a continuous sense of weakness. Following consultations with medical specialists about her impairments, Marina was informed she had a malignant brain tumor. “There was no time to waste,” she was advised by her oncologist. After undergoing a complicated surgery and long months of grueling and taxing radiation and chemotherapy, Marina was told that she was in remission and ready to move on with her life, get married and have a family.

Six months ago, however, Marina’s headaches returned with vengeance. This time the diagnosis was worse: she had GMB, Glioblastoma, stage 4 brain tumor, the most aggressive kind of cancer. With chemotherapy and radiation treatments ineffective at this stage of the illness, Marina was advised to undergo yet another brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible.  She did, but given the aggressive nature of this kind of cancer, the tumor keeps growing back. Requiring close care that was prohibitively costly in the US, Marina had to return to Israel where she is being looked after by her elderly parents, with the mother holding down two jobs. Marina’s only chance now, the family was told, is an experimental medicine that is in a very early trial phase. The family does not have the resources that would afford Marina this last, and seemingly only, chance to recover from this dreadful disease.

Dear Friends! We have no choice but to appeal to you to help us raise the funds that will assist Marina obtain this very expensive trial medication. Marina urgently needs three treatments, each costing $4,500. Given the medicine’s experimental status, Marina’s insurance will not pay for it. Without it being flown to Israel, however, Marina has no chance. Please help us raise the $13,500 that might give Marina the gift of life. Please give as much as you can. Every bit will help. Please help! It is critical that we do so immediately!

Thank you in advance for helping Marina. Please keep Marina bat Olga in your prayers.
