Marilyn's Back Surgery

I am very reluctant to do this, but here goes..
So I've been battling a bad back for over a year now, as some of you know. Over time, it has gotten to the point where I am no longer able to live my life. I have a dog walking and cat sitting business that I've worked hard to make a success, and I SO love it-I have been lucky to have the nicest clients-humans, canines and felines. I have not been able to work for over a month. I can no longer drive. I've had to ask people to do pretty much everything for me and it's not easy. My friends have been great, and one in particular, my dear friend Kate-she has been my angel, and I am forever grateful to her. She works full time, has a family, a dog and a million things to do everyday, yet she always has time to call me first thing in the morning, checking to see how I'm feeling, what I need, what she can do for me-she comes over at least 3 times a day, feeds me, shops for me, does my laundry, the list goes on. She can't keep this up-I can't let her. My surgery, while scheduled for Feb 5th at Kaiser in Oakland, is going to be set up for as soon as possible. My pain is severe, and while frightening, the sooner I have it over, the quicker I will be able to get back to work.
I expect to be out for 4 or so months with no income or disability insurance. I need help with just about everything-any funds you want to donate will be appreciated from the bottom of my heart. I thank you for reading this-xo Marilyn
