Handicapp Van for Marilu Reyes age 4

I am raising money to buy a used Wheel Chair Accessible Van for my smart spunky 6 yr old daughter Marilu Reyes. She has Congenital Muscular Dystrophy it in non-progressive right now(Thank you God!!) from birth and is confined to a wheel-chair.  She is getting too heavy(75 ibs.)  to transfer in and out of the family car.  The family cannot finance a Handicapp van, they are extremely expensive ($40,000 brand new). There are few community resources  to help families finance such an expensive cost, And I will continue to apply for community grants for this van and hope for approval.  Marilu loves to go everywhere: to the grocery store, church, and on family outings.  Without a Handicapp Van her family struggles daily transporting her to and from doctors appointments and other places.  She gets slightly bumped and jostled about  getting  in and out of the family's small car, she has no strength in her arms and legs and cannot stand on her own weight; she has to be carried to be transferred in and out.
