Marie's Health Mission To Peru

My name is Marie Farag, and I am a Public Health student in the MPH program at National University. My school has an amazing opportunity to be a part of a Medical and Health Community Outreach Program and I need your help to make this possible! We will be providing medical access to disadvantaged families in Cusco, Peru.

Our role will involve teaching hygiene, first aid, nutrition, and health education to the community of Cusco, Peru along with the supervision of licensed physicians and nurses. The goal of this program is to help me reach a better understanding of how diversities and disparities in people and places impact human health, using Peru as a case study. This unique opportunity provides a first-hand experience in the global health field with various visits to local hospitals, villages, and health Non-Governmental Organizations. I will be using the funds for transportation to and from Cusco as well as the cost of the Outreach program. Funds will also be used for medical supplies such as bandages, over the counter medication, hygiene supplies etc. I will also be accepting donations of medical and hygiene supplies.
