Marielle's Seminary Fund

Hi, my name is Marielle Harari. I am entering my 2nd semester as a 12th grader at Kohelet Yeshiva high school. Over the past four years, I have been involved in many leadership opportunities, such as school related initiatives and Chesed, NCSY chapter and regional board, JTAG, Standwithus Highschool Internship, AIPAC, and Bnei Akiva. I was raised in a Modern Orthodox home with my three siblings. Growing up, there were always certain mitvots like Shabbat and kosher that I gravitated towards. As I matured, I started exploring my religion in-depth and have gained a much greater appreciation for it. As a result, I started implementing more mitzvots and Halacha into my life. My proudest accomplishment from this explorative journey has been tnziot. This coming year my classmates and I have been presented with the amazing opportunity to be able to study in Israel for the year. There we will be able to dedicate ourselves to torah and religious growth. Unfortunately, I am unable to join my peer group, as I cannot afford to pay for it. This is mainly a struggle because on my own, I need to pay for my year in Seminary and College eduction. If given the opportunity, I would be spending the year in Israel, enrolled in an intense Judaic, Jewish history, and Israeli history program. I would really appreciate any amount of money you could donate to help me achieve my dreams. This experience would not only be the fulcrum of my 12 years in Jewish day school, but of my religious journey as a young adult. This opportunity would influence my life in the years to come.
