Marie needs you! She is Stage 3

Marie needs your help! During a routine screening Marie recently found out she has lung cancer. She has stage 3A metastatic non small cell carcinoma which has spread to her lymph nodes. Marie is lucky in that it has only affected 1 of her lungs. 

Marie has 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and is the youngest of 6 sisters. Marie is a graduate of John Jay High School in Brooklyn, NY, class of '74. She is one of the kindest most generous people I've ever met. Ive had the privilege of knowing Marie for the last 2 years and she's already made her mark on my heart and become a second mom to me. 

She is a constant source of love and humor to everyone who knows her. And is a rock for her family. Especially her daughter Krissy and her grandchildren William and Victoria who live with her in Charleston, SC where she has resided for the past 17 years.

Unfortunately Marie lost her health insurance because in the state of SC the only cancer covered is breast cancer and cervical cancer. This means that Marie will have to come out of pocket for everything! Chemo, radiation, and living expenses since she will be unable to work during her treatment.
