Maria’s Holistic Cancer Treatment

Maria Cano needs our help!
Some of you know Maria, some of you don’t, please allow me to give you a little backstory to fill you in.
Maria Cano is a wonderful, strong, independent, caring, loving, kind, single mother of her lovely ten year old son Rebel. I have been fortunate to know Maria since way back in middle school. She was quiet and shy back in those days (still is a little lol) that’s why I’m assisting in getting this page started to help raise awareness about what’s going on in her life.
For those of you that know Maria she was Diagnosed June 10th 2016 with stage 2 breast cancer HER 2 +. She received Lumpectomy surgery July 5th 2016 to remove the tumors. During these procedures Maria was met with an uncomfortable pressure by ‘medical professionals’ to move forward with an aggressive traditional chemotherapy. Maria questioned each of her doctors about alternative treatments and they disregarded her concerns and continued to persuade her into chemo.
After all of her doctors refused to discuss alternative methods to heal Maria followed her heart, refused chemotherapy, radiation and hormonal treatment and opted to go with her instincts towards holistic healing.
Gifted with a huge surprise blessing from a few wonderful friends, Maria was able to attend the Whittaker Wellness Center in New Port Beach for two weeks on the money raised from a previous go-fund me campaign. The facility provided IV'S, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, high dose vitamin c injections and a wealth of knowledge for Maria to continue this treatment on her own. She was instructed by facilities nutritionist to change her diet, lifestyle, etc. which she did 100%. They also encouraged her to find a local doctor to assist her and support her through this process, which she also accomplished.
As per doctors orders a lifestyle change was in place. Upon returning home Maria left her dream job as a hair colorist due to the chemicals in the dyes. She turned completely vegan and has been steadily living a healthier lifestyle daily.
Maria faced numerous difficulties monitoring her treatment due to the lack of holistic doctors in the area. After several attempts she found a holistic doctor based in Mountain View. He gained her complete trust by promising to be there for her every step of the way, only to let her down by abandoning her when his treatments failed her. (We discovered later that his treatments did nothing but inflicted more damage.)
Maria was informed by doctors that her original surgery (lumpectomy) was unsuccessful and there was still a growth, this time x2 bigger in the area.
Lost, without any direction, Maria spent two months without medial assistance trying to find a doctor, researching, diagnosing and treating herself through nutrition and intuition. There were ups and downs but ultimately a decision needed to be made in regards to her health because Maria’s condition was not improving, complications were beginning to occur. In an attempt to redeem himself Maria’s previous doctor insisted that she get into a well know healing center located in Mesa Arizona. He made a few calls and fast tracked the admission process.
With financial assistance from her loving parents, Maria was able to gain admittance to the facility in Mesa which is currently assisting her get back on the road to recovery.
An Oasis of Healing is a center in Mesa, that specifies in holistic cancer treatments. Nutrition, lymphatic drainage, colon hydrotherapy, IV treatments, Vitamins, Oxygen therapy, acupuncture, mindfulness etc.. it’s an oasis of healing.
Upon entering the center Maria was required to undergo testing to see just what’s really going on within her body. Unfortunately the cancer has spread. It metastasized from the tumors on her chest to spots upon her lungs and liver. The doctors strongly suggest that she extend her original stay from 4 to 8 weeks so that they may attack and monitor more aggressively.
This is where we need your help.
Yes Maria and her family need your help! A week of treatment is $10,000.
The extended stay was unexpected as they have only accounted for the original estimate but the added treatment days are extremely necessary to attack this think full on. If you can donate or help spread the word please do. I don’t know of another person who is more deserving of life. The world desperately needs more people like Maria, please share.
