Maria’s Cancer Treatment fundraiser
Dear friends and family we are asking for your help to raise money for medical expenses for Maria Villo.
We are sad to report that our precious wife, mother, grandmother, and friend was diagnosed with what looks like lung cancer that has metastasized d to the liver and bones.
She is scheduled to have an MRI of the whole body and the brain on January 8th but the insurance company has refused to pay for this. She has already had 3 hospital visits, 2 ct scans and several doctors visits this month to treat pneumonia, bronchitis, an infection in her leg and deep vein thrombosis. The bills are adding up fast.
She is still waiting on a biopsy to be scheduled in about a month to know for sure the type and stage of the cancer. She can't have the biopsy until she finishes a blood thinner she is taking to treat deep vein thrombosis. Her physician still hasn’t found anyone to perform the biopsy who takes her insurance.
She has even more appointments scheduled in January with several specialist. Some of these visits will have to be paid with cash due to the fact that we are having difficulty finding specialists that take her insurance.
