Our dear friend Maria Hubo was diagnosed with cervical cancer this past Year. She is a dialysis Nurse at Mount Sinai West. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being. She is cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and always puts her friends and family before herself.
She underwent surgery this year to remove the cancer, which was successful. But, with further testing cancerous cells were detected in her lymph nodes. As a result, she will be having to undergo further treatment.
Because of this, she has been unable to work and will likely not be able to return until the Spring. Short term disability unfortunately does not provide full pay. Some of her medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter. If you could find it in your heart to donate to our dear friend and colleague that would be much appreciated . I pray that God repay you ten fold . Please if you are unable to donate I ask for prayers. Also if you are Willing to help drive her to chemotherapy and radiation appointments would be much appreciated .
