The surgery requires removing a significant portion of her jaw and replacing it with a prosthesis to ensure the tumor won't grow back. <div>Mariand is a 16-year-old gymnast from Venezuela. Her strength, discipline, and passion for the sport have led her to dream big, but today she faces the toughest challenge of her life. In October 2025, a diagnosis changed the course of her life: a tumor in her jaw (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odontogenic_myxoma" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Odontogenic myxoma</a>) that, if not treated in time, will continue to grow until it compromises her bone structure and quality of life.

<div>For Mariand, time is of the essence. Her doctor has determined that the only option to save her functionality and avoid major complications is specialized surgery that includes reconstructing her jaw with a prosthesis designed exclusively for her. This is a procedure that will not only halt the progression of the injury but also restore her stability and the chance to reclaim her daily life, her dreams, and her passion for what she loves.
