Maria's Medical Fund

I'm creating this gofundme page for a dear friend and my classmate, Anna Gurianova, and her beautiful daughter, Maria. With Ann's permission, I am sharing their story. In Early May this year when Anna and her two kids were traveling through Cyprus, her daughter Maria became very ill. Anna rushed her to the hospital. Medics discovered a big shadow on her lungs and diagnosed complex pneumonia. After 5 days, three antibiotics, a lot of medical procedures and no improvements, doctors decided to perform a surgery to save Maria's life. The surgery turned out to be more complicated than everyone hoped. Maria ended up in ICU, on a ventilator and chest tube. After one month she lost so much weight and was released from the hospital. They were far away from home, all alone and very scared. Anna spent all her savings and took a loan to support her family. As a single mom, she is working hard to pay off all Marias’ medical bills and her debts. She is one of the hardest workers and loving human beings that I am fortunate enough to know. This amazing family needs your support and help to provide some relief from the financial burden so that they can focus on Maria’s recovery.
