Mariah is Battling for her Life

My beloved oldest niece, Mariah May-Rose, is battling for her life in the ICU. Mariah lives with the debilitating progressive neurological disease Myesthenia Gravis. She came down with an infection which caused some of her organs to start shutting down. She was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with multi-organ failure and was intubated and put into an induced coma. Her condition remains unchanged and the doctors are advising Tony that her recovery will be long and difficult.

Mariah's husband Tony is trying hard to care for her in the hospital, but he is fighting Stage IV colon cancer that has spread to his liver. He is receiving chemotherapy treatment.

Tony needs to keep working to keep his health insurance, to pay for his and Mariah's care and to keep household bills paid. He is finding it hard to be at Mariah's side, work to pay bills and take his own medical treatments.

Funds are needed now to pay mortgage and other bills that are overdue, as well as to support Mariah's 14 year old daughter Selena.

Family has pitched in to help but we do not have enough resources, and therefore we are reaching out to our various communities for financial help, as well as spiritual and emotional support.

Please help Tony and Mariah at this difficult time.
