Maria's Taco Xpress: Help Keep Our Doors Open!

Hello Everyone,
Maria’s Taco Xpress, like all restaurants in Austin, are facing the most devastating crisis we have ever seen. As a community, we have taken a hit with the closing of so many great businesses we've come to enjoy and love. Everyone who comes to Maria's knows that it is not just a restaurant, but an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like family. It not only fills your body with its amazing food, but also your soul with the fun and wonderful moments you've experienced and shared during each visit. I'm reaching out to that community and asking for help to save our beloved establishment from closing its doors.
Currently, we are operating at 30% of what we normally would pre-Covid. We are selling in a week what we would typically do in one day. We have been functioning on loans to pay our employees, buy our food and supplies and pay our bills, but it is not enough to cover our property taxes of approximately $50,000 due by the end of the year. Unfortunately, the Travis Appraisal District refuses to give us a break on this. We are asking for you to please help us with our campaign to make sure our doors stay open.
