Maria R. is turning 50 on September 17!
Maria and her partner are both in school and the last few years of their lives have been hella stressful. Maria has expressed a wish that she and her partner could get away for a weekend or school break to a wild area like St. Marks Wildlife Refuge or Gulf Coast National Seashore. She longs to decompress with no agenda, but the time and money are never there.
While their schedules won't permit a getaway on her actual birthday, let's give her the gift of being able plan a getaway without worrying about money for gas, lodging, food, cat-sitter, and all the other expenses that come up around a trip.
Who I am and why I'm doing this fundraiser: I'm Kristina, and Maria is my dearest friend. She now lives far away from her home state, me, and many other people that love her and want to celebrate her. If I were queen of the world, I'd magic up a huge celebration of Maria with all her far-flung amazing friends letting her know we love her and are so happy she's been here with us this half-century. Instead, I'm doing this.
Please donate by September 16, so I can reveal this fundraiser and the total to Maria on her birthday.
