My name is Maria and in 2023, I had a pap done and the doctor told me it was normal and that the bleeding was from my cervix thinning, which I believed. Then in 2024, a year later, the bleeding got so bad I had to wear a diaper. So, I wanted a second opinion and had to wait for a referral to a specialist. On July 22nd, 2024, I went to the specialist, and during my exam, I started to bleed all over the table and floor. The doctor and nurses panicked so badly it scared me, and I asked, "Shouldn't we call 911?" To make a long story short, he rushed me to the emergency room where I learned I have stage 2 cancer. My life ended that day!

I have to do chemo and radiation once a week and every day. I'm a very poor but proud person, and this is more than I can handle. My treatment center is 70 miles one way, and I can't afford to make the trips every day, nor do I have reliable transportation because my car's broken. I am asking anyone to help me with money to make my trips every day and for reliable transportation. I have no family hardly left to turn to for help as there isn't many left and there in bad shape too, and I'm very overwhelmed with everything.
