Our sister, Maria "Leni" Rhoades, passed away after courageously battling illnesses for the better part of the last 10 years. She was in and out of the hospital during those years and more in than out the last 3 years. She was also receiving kidney dialysis a few days a week. Her son, Dillon, was her full-time paid caregiver. They had a loving bond that was unbreakable. Now that our sister has her angel wings, Dillon is left with bills including the funeral home expenses, rent, utilities, groceries, etc., and has no income since he's no longer his mom's caregiver. He is diligently working and making calls daily to get his mom's affairs in order. Dillon has had a lot of responsibilities and hurdles he's overcoming, but without any income, the ends aren't meeting. Worrying about how he's going to put groceries in the fridge or pay the electric bill is the last thing he should worry about right now. He needs time to grieve. I am asking anyone who knew our sister, Dillon, or our family to please consider helping our nephew transition into his new life without such a financial burden. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
