Meine Tante Jutta hat am See Atitlan im Departamento Sololá das Projekt 'Bella Vista - Eine Schule für uns in Guatemala' gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin Maria ins Leben gerufen. Mit Hilfe von Spenden und Patenschaften konnte eine Schule für die Kinder der ortsansässigen Kaffeepflücker-Familien gebaut und das Schulgeld bzw. -essen für viele Kinder über die Jahre hinweg finanziert werden. <div>Maria Josefa war eine Schülerin dieser Schule und ich unterstütze sie bereits seit vielen Jahren. Nun ist sie eine junge Dame und befindet sich in der Berufsausbildung. Leider ist sie schwer erkrankt, sie leidet an Thrombozytopenie. Die medizinsche Versorgung vor Ort kann ihr nur in Ansätzen die Hilfe bieten, die sie eigentlich in ihrer Situation benötigt. Eine OP zur Entfernung der Milz ist vor Ort nicht möglich, jedoch kann die Krankheit vorerst mit Hilfe von regelmäßigen Injektionen eingedämmt werden. Die Kosten hierfür sind sehr hoch, eine Spritze kostet umgerechnet ca. 1000 Euro. Sie hat nun die 4. Spritze bekommen und die Behandlung zeigt erste Erfolge, jedoch muss diese unbedingt fortgesetzt werden. Für die Familie ist es nicht möglich, die Kosten alleine zu stemmen, daher versuchen wir nun auf diesem Weg Spenden zu sammeln, um ihr eine weitere Behandlung zu ermöglichen. Es wäre wunderbar, wenn sich Menschen finden würden, die sie unterstützen möchten! In der Hoffnung, dass ihr so geholfen werden kann danke ich allen Helfern bereits jetzt auch in ihrem Namen!
