On June 17th, the Baca family received some heartbreaking news: Maria (aka 'Wicha') Baca has been diagnosed with stage 2 (invasive) breast cancer.
Although the cancer was discovered early, the Baca family is currently without health insurance. It goes without saying that the impending financial burden for just the initial procedure will be significant. Her surgery will need to be performed within 4 weeks (by July 16th)
