Margie's House

Marge is a parishioner from one of our Pennsylvania chapels.  She became a widow over a year ago and her monthly income is extremely small.  Due to big expenses associated with living in her house, fellow parishioners are trying to assist her in identifying a smaller living space.  When the taxes could not be paid, the bank paid them but rolled the amount into the existing mortgage.  While the house is up for sale, the bank wants a payment to satisfy those taxes or they will begin to foreclose some time in March.  If the house is sold, a modest profit can be realized.  If the taxes are not paid, the bank will eventually take possession and there will not be profit.    I am hoping that this fundraising project will enable Marge to buy a little more time in order to pay those taxes and sell the house.  A Traditional Catholic needs our help.  I appreciate whatever you can give and I know that Marge will as well.
