Margaret's Broken Ankle

Boy, I never thought I'd be in this position, but here goes nothing!

My name is Margaret Ford and twelve days ago I broke my ankle in two places from a blackout associated with a medicine I was taking. Due to this little medical emergency, I've been unable to bring in any income for a bit. 

So, why no savings or nest egg, you ask? Well, ten weeks ago, I was assaulted. This triggered a whole host of issues leading to medical leave for the majority of the ten week period.

I'd just gotten the go ahead to finally go back to work when, well...

It's as painful as it looks, I'm afraid :(

So, this brings me around to setting up the page your lovely self is reading at this very moment. Unfortunately, the stress of making rent in a new apartment, food for myself and a very old puppy, as well as paying for transportation not to mention the ludicrous medical expenses, (You have to pay three-hundred dollars separately for anesthesia?!), have left me in a something of a pickle. 

I've always prided myself on being self-sufficient, a confident individual fully willing and able to help those in need. And now, I find myself having to humbly ask for just enough to get by for a few months while I go through the recovery process. Anything you can give to help at any time would be so very appreciated in this difficult time.

Throughout my fourteen-year career, I like to think I've touched a lot of lives in a very positive way, whether that be as a team leader, as a manager, or as a friend, and I've met so many wonderful people along the way. It's easy to fall into frustration, easy to be angry about these runs of bad luck in life, but I truly believe, deep down, in looking at the brightest sides of these worst situations.

I love each and every one of my family and friends, and I want to thank you so much for reading my page, even if you can't donate, even if spreading the word is a bit too much. Times are hard and I truly understand. Many thanks and peace be with you.
