Marcos' Channel Island Journey

My son Marcos is on his way to begin his college journey at Channel Islands University. He will spend his first year dorming. Any funds raised will go directly to cover his dorming fees and living expenses for August and September (monthly cost of $1850.00).
Our story- In 2009 we lost their father and my fiance to an accident. I have been raising our 3 children as a single parent since that time. We have managed to make ends meet with the help of my employment, SSI and help from our amazing friends and family. I have held fundraisers throughout the years to help support extra activities and family trips. Thankfuly, we have never had to be without.
My oldest spent her first 2 years of college attending CSUN. She is currently at CSUB. My middle son joined the National Guard and in doing so has qualified for the GI Bill to help cover tuition at the school of his choice. He will be deploying overseas in a few months and will continue his education when he returns.
Marcos is my baby, my youngest and his goal is to attend Channel Islands University in Camarillo, Ca and live on campus during his freshman year. His goal is to major in Applied Physics. We currently qualify for financial aid but only enough to cover the cost of tuition and textbooks. Dorming costs will be an out of pocket expense . I have been able put aside some money for these expenses and he will be receiving money from his dad's life insurance policy when he turns 18 in September. We will utilize this to help cover costs for the remainder of the school year. My hours are currently cut back at work due to the summer slow down and it's made it difficult for me to put aside additional money for these expenses. I am asking for assistance to help cover the first 2 months as I forsee the cutbacks at work lasting through September.
I am very proud of these three human beings and I hurt anytime I am not able to 100% financially support their goals and aspirations.
