Marcos Arriola Fund For Leukemia

This is a Go Fund Me campaign for Marcos Arriolla in an effort to raise money for this amazing young man and his family, to alleviate many of the financial burdens that they will be facing in the near and distant future. Marcos had been experiencing bouts of fatigue over the past few months but, for a senior in high school and a three sport varsity athlete (football, wrestling & lacrosse) this is not uncommon.  Especially during wrestling season, where workouts are intense and athletes drop weight. Eventually, this became a recurring issue that needed to be addressed. After a few weeks of blood tests and finally a bone marrow test, it was discovered that Marcos had Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).  

It is the hope of Marcos’s mom, Sylvia that she could be with her son every step of the way through his treatments and fight against Leukemia.   Prior to Marcos’s diagnosis, both his parents were working full time. His parents both worked multiple jobs and are extremely hard working. These donations will insure that Marcos will not have to face this challenge alone.  We as a community can significantly insure that Marcos has the comfort of his parents by his side every step of the way. This situation is now complicated due to the corona virus impact on activity and work options.
 
All proceeds will go directly to Mrs. Silvia G Arriola account (Marco's mom).  Donations will go to treatment, assistance and support for Marcos and his family during this journey.  Any assistance and all donations are greatly appreciated.

“Marcos has truly been an exceptional student athlete throughout his high school career.  He is truly loved and respected by ALL of his peers, teachers, administrators and coaches.  Marcos has been captain of many of his athletic teams. He is a Peer Group Leader and the most selfless young man I have ever known.  He has spent tireless hours throughout the years supporting and mentoring peers and athletes of all ages. Marcos is also committed to his local community,  religious faith and local church (The Harbor church). Marcos has stated to his mom,  that like in wrestling, this is going to be another match that he will fight and will win. She said she has faith that he will win and give glory to God. She is a woman of great faith!
