Within this short period of time, enough has been given to cover the anticipated expenses of her final wishes. From Marcine: It is rare that you receive the gift of knowing that your end of life is coming. I have been given the amazing opportunity to be able to say goodbye personally to all of those that I love. I also have the chance to plan my last and final party, MY END OF LIFE CELEBRATION!
Over the course of the last several months, and through the reminder of my days, I have experienced a huge amount of medical debt. The last thing that I wish is for my family to incur the astronomical financial burden of caring for the me at this time or having to try and afford funeral/memorial and celebration expenses.
I thought that I would turn to you, my friends and family. I know that no one has a great deal, but every little bit will help.
I am so fortunate to have met so many amazing people in my life and from such diverse backgrounds, extending from theater to medicine and just about everything else in between.
I am blessed to call you my colleagues, mentors, students, friends, family and to call all you Loved Ones! I look forward to spending the next couple of months showing that love and affection to as many as possible.
I ask that you pray for peace and comfort for all. And finally, if you have a memory of our time together, please share it with me (especially the funny ones)! Those are the things that life are made of!
