Canadian oncologist just told us "there's nothing more we can do" BUT MD Anderson in Houston TX disagrees. 
 
To anyone who has had the privilege of knowing my sister, Marcie, or even sharing a brief interaction with her, you know just how incredible she is. Marcie has a way of instantly making people feel welcome, loved, and like lifelong friends. 
 
Today, we are asking for your help from the bottom of our hearts. 
 
In August 2025, Marcie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. For the past 10 months, she has been fighting with everything she has. She has endured extensive chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy treatments, while spending countless days and nights in the hospital, all with one goal in mind, to get back home to her family. 
 
Through it all, she has shown unimaginable strength, especially for her beautiful son, Beau, who is now 17 months old. Every single day, she continues to fight for more time with him and the people she loves. 
 
Recently, her oncologist told us there were no more treatment options available and that there was nothing else they could do. Hearing those words was devastating. 
 
But we refuse to give up. 
 
After reaching out to a cancer center in the United States, we were told there are still options available. There are clinical trials and additional chemotherapy treatments that have shown promise and could give Marcie another chance. 
 
We are now hoping to travel to Houston receive treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Marcie is determined to keep fighting and is willing to give everything she has to beat this disease. 

The cost of treatment has been estimated at $140,000 USD, an overwhelming amount for any family to face. We are prepared to do everything we can to make this possible, but we cannot do it alone.

The last gofundme was hugely successful in helping pay for the treatments, naturopath infusions and tests as well as supplements. As many know Marcie owned a day home prior to the diagnosis and doesn't qualify for EI or any type of government support (which is such BS but I'll leave that alone).
