Hi there! My name is Dominique. I am the mother of a beautiful little girl, Marceline. Marcie is a medically complex baby who has had a long journey thus far and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. When Marceline was born, she was diagnosed with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency, which is quite a rare congenital abnormality that happens to 1 in every 200,000 little ones. She also has an extremely rare heart defect called Mitral Valve Arcade, and 2 PFOs (holes in her heart), along with club feet, a cleft lip that was repaired, a double toe, bone deformities in her elbows, and hip dysplasia. We have just recently discovered she does not have a hip joint, which requires putting the hip back into place.

We have traveled to Boston many times since she was born, and it has taken a toll on us financially. We have officially exhausted all resources, and we have broken down asking for your help. This is to raise funds for her next Boston trip coming up. This appointment, Marcie will be headed there to get an MRI of her lower extremities, and for us parents (Dylan and I) to determine whether or not we will be having surgery, the plans moving forward for her, and what the future would look like for her.

The funds would go towards lodging, food, and fare to get to the hospital from the inn. We would appreciate anything, and even a share would help us. Thank you so much!
